Welcome, origami lovers!
Oct 15 2025 Origami for Fundraising origamiOrigami is a fascinating activity which can be pursued at many levels by people of all ages — but it can be more than just a pleasant pastime. Folding various types of origami models and sharing them with other people can also be a way to raise funds for worthy causes.
Origami-related fundraising can be used to support a wide variety of non-profit educational or charitable organizations. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, create beauty, and do some good in this world — all at the same time!
The purpose of this blog is two-fold: to share my love of origami with others and to promote the use of origami as an effective fundraising tool. If you’d like to learn more about my own efforts to fundraise with origami, please visit my web site at http://www.rcisites.com

More posts coming soon, with pictures of origami models I’ve been folding recently. For now, I hope you enjoy the Tokyo Cherry Blossom Kusudama shown above, designed by Kankichi. You can see how it was made by watching her video on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Lj3ieCpFyU
